Dr. Banks is a skilled and compassionate dentist who has proudly served the Dayton community since 2011. She developed an interest in dentistry early in her college career, drawn to the perfect blend of science, math, and art. Excelling in both scientific subjects and creative expression, Dr. Banks found that dentistry offered a unique opportunity to combine her talents in a way that improves people’s lives—one smile at a time!
As a native of nearby Springboro, Dr. Banks earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University. She further honed her clinical skills through a General Practice Residency Program at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, where she received extensive hands-on training in a wide range of dental procedures.
Committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements, Dr. Banks actively pursues continuing education and certifications in areas such as Invisalign®, Full Mouth Rehabilitation, Implant Placement and Restoration, Sedation Dentistry, and Cosmetic Restorations. She participates in several prestigious local study clubs, including Spear, Kois, and Molis, ensuring that her patients benefit from the most up-to-date techniques and treatments available.
Dr. Banks is passionate about providing exceptional care in a warm and comfortable environment. She is a proud member of the Dayton Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Additionally, Dr. Banks actively supports fellow women in dentistry through her involvement with Mommy Dentists in Business.
Outside the office, Dr. Banks enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. With a busy family schedule full of sports activities, you can often find her cheering on the sidelines or in the bleachers. Dr. Banks also enjoys reading, traveling, and staying active.
