Dr. Garland is proud to serve the community, caring for generations of smiles since first opening the Middletown location many years ago. Before going into practice and becoming a trusted name in dentistry, he graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University’s prestigious School of Dentistry.

Dr. Garland’s love for learning and staying up-to-date on the latest techniques earned him numerous hours of continuing education credits from the Dawson Academy, Spear Education, and the Kois Center. He remains dedicated to providing quality dentistry to patients through certifications in both laser and Invisalign certification. Dr. Garland is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Keely Dental Society. He is also a general member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Dr. Garland was also chosen by his peers as one of Cincinnati Magazine’s top dentists.

Seeing patients keeps Dr. Garland fairly busy. When he’s not providing exceptional care, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife Denise, to whom he’s been married for over 30 years. The couple have raised three children together, and cherish precious time spent with their six grandchildren. Dr. Garland also enjoys a friendly round of golf, participating in study club, snapping captivating photos, and attempting to reel in a big catch during offshore fishing trips.

Having been born in Dayton and raised in Springboro, Dr. Johnson enjoys being part of and giving back to the community he calls home. He acquired a passion for hard work from his parents. His mother worked for General Motors for 38 years, and his father owned a small, successful company as a brick mason, building many commercial buildings that still stand in and around Dayton. Dr. Johnson attended the University of Dayton on academic and athletic scholarships, before graduating ahead of schedule with a Bachelor of Science. He went on to attend The Ohio State School of Dentistry where he met Dr. Garland during an externship. Dr. Johnson joined the practice after graduation, and is now part owner.

Dr. Johnson remains dedicated to providing exceptional service through laser, Invisalign, oral sedation, and IV sedation certifications. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is passionate about continuing education to learn the latest techniques and technology through study club and advanced course work.

Dr. Johnson and his wife Lindsay are the proud parents of three boys, and are also very active within the community. They regularly support the Dayton Art Institute, Dayton Women’s Board, and Dayton Hospice. Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his three boys, keeping busy with activities such as hiking, home improvement projects, sports, and all things Star Wars. You might also find him cheering on the University of Dayton Basketball team and Buckeye football.

Dr. Banks grew up and resides in nearby Springboro. She graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, followed by an immediate acceptance into the university’s Dental School. She eventually graduated cum laude once again with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. While attending school, Dr. Banks also impressively worked part-time as a dental hygienist. She eventually returned to the Dayton area, continuing clinical training through the General Practice Residency Program at Miami Valley Hospital.

While gaining valuable professional experience, Dr. Banks developed clinical speed and quality by treating 8 or more patients daily with treatments involving complex restorative, surgical, and emergency procedures. She’s also skilled in diagnosis, treatment planning, and the delivery of comprehensive dental care. She’s gained numerous hours of experience treating patients of all ages, while learning the latest techniques and advanced, up-to-date procedures. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and Dayton Dental Society.

Dr. Banks has numerous special achievements and participates as a member of the General Practice Residency Housestaff Council at Miami Valley Hospital and many other extracurricular activities. Outside of the office, she enjoys time spent with her husband Devon and their boxer named Jack. She loves teeing off on the golf course, running, reading a good book, traveling, and faithfully cheering on the Buckeyes each football season.

Dr. Chad was born in Ravenna, Ohio. He earned his undergraduate degree (BA), from Hiram College and completed his dental degree (DDS) and orthodontic training (certificate and Master’s in Science in Oral Biology) at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Chad has been in private practice since 2004 and finds developing relationships with his patients and parents on their smile journey most rewarding. Dr. Chad enjoys giving back including time spent volunteering at Akron Children’s Hospitals’ Craniofacial Center and with the Give Kids a Smile Program. Dr. Chad has served as a part-time associate clinical professor at The Ohio State University Division of Orthodontics as well as written and lectured on both professional (dental/orthodontic) and personal topics (educational experience and cancer journey).

Dr. Chad is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics and member of the College of Diplomats, as well as an active member in many professional organizations such as the AAO, GLAO, OAO, CSO, ADA, ODA, and MCDS. He is a past President of the Cleveland Society of Orthodontists and former member of the Schulman Study Group.

Dr. Chad is married to Jennifer, his wife of over 20 years, whom he met at Hiram College. They have two children. Faith, who stays busy academically and socially while participating on the high school gymnastics team and coaching gymnastics. Our youngest Lance is involved in scouts, competitive gymnastics, and caring for his red crested gecko (Rusty). Dr. Chad enjoys being active and most often you will find him on family walks and hikes with Ruby, their Bernese Mountain dog. Dr. Chad also dedicates time to fundraisers for cancer, such as Stewart’s Caring Place and Pelotonia.
